need advice please

please can  you help i am going mad worrying i have been celibate for 5 years but 7 week's ago i was intimate with a old friend there was no sex just touching in fact we werent even naked but he did rub his penis against me he never orgasmed it was just a kiss that got a bit out of hand, 2 week's ago i started to get a tingling on my outer vaginal lip's which comes and goes im well have no discharge and no sores or lesion's in fact it seem's to get worse at night each sensation lasting maybe 10 second's to 5minutes im so scared my life is over through one stupid moment of madness and the fact we didnt have intercourse is making me worse as i could understand it if we had of had sex to be celibate all this time and now have this happen i dont know were to turn can anyone help is it herpes...

Okay so neither of you were naked, correct? did his penis make skin to skin contact with your labia or vagina at all, or was this just through his jeans? if he did not make skin to skin contact i highly doubt you have contacted HSV 1 or 2

hi it was skin to skin for a  a minute or two so and he only touched my labia have had the tingling a little over a couple of week's but no sores or any other symptom just the tingling it is driving me mad i feel my life is over over a stupid fumble never had intercourse either but the tingling which comes and goes each day is so embarrassing...

i think this is very low risk for herpes because it was one time for a min or 2 so i dont think you have anything to worry about. you may just be freakin out because you had been celibate for so long and now that a little contact happened your mind could be playin tricks on you.

think you may be right it gets worse when i think about it and it does feels sometimes like prickly heat in the day i rarely get it it comes and goes over the whole day, and if it was herpes does the tingling last this long and will it ever stop sorry to keep asking im just so worried ...

no the tingling happens before the outbreak begins it last for a day or two max and then you would breakout and feel the pain from the outbreak tingling does last forever.

had  tingling 3 weeks now but not as much these last couple day's hardly any no other symtoms (symptoms) at all so do you think it could be herpes need your advice please...

its not herpes causing tingling it's in your head i went through the same thing getting worried for nothing i promise you.

Have you went to be seen yet and been properly examined?

Nothing you describe sounds like herpes is going on.  It all sounds like anxiety more than anything.

Thank you grace, for your reply so glad it dosent sound like herpes when you look on the net you get so many conflicting descriptions of herpes that you dont know what to believe, all i know is had a slight itch now and then and tingling on my outer labia, apart from that nothing was to scared go my doctor's now  im going to go book in as soon as i can id heard the tingling from herpes can last for week's that is why i asked again as of tomorrow will be 5 wks ive had this tingling and didnt know if it was herpes does it last this long without any other symptom's....

please please can anyone put my mind at rest, sorry to ask but still getting a tingling in the same spot on my outer labia no itching well only now and then but other than that im fine it's been just over 5 weeks now. it ISNT  ongoing all day it goes and comes through the day in fact it gets worse at night , just need to know does anyone know if herpes tingling lasts this long im really getting worried now ...

An online message board is limited in what it can do for you. If you still have symptoms, you need to be going back over and over again to your provider for work ups. We can not help you at this point with much more.  It doesn't sound like herpes going on as I've already told you a few times now.
