neonatal herpes For new born- HELP!

Me and my wife just had a new born. Everything looks healthy. At time of vaginal delivery, she did not have any outbreaks or blisters. Is there a chance the baby could still get neonatal herpes?

The baby is 5 days old. I don’t see any type of rashes. He does have some jaundice and eating just minimum-1.5 ounce per feeding session every 2 hours. His diapers are good. He has been peeing and pooping.

Because I can give it to my wife when she was pregnant. I have hsv2. Any concern?
At the time my wife was not showing. No blisters or outbreaks in the vagina area. She delivered vaginally.

You can relax. The odds are extremely low and 5 days with no issues is a great sign

Thank you. Googling too much will always have a parent worried. He was born on the smaller side but is gaining 1 oz a day.
