oral herpes transmitted to and through breast?

I have oral herpes and am wondering if I can pass it on to my girlfriend by kissing her breasts while I have a cold sore? If so, can she then pass it along to our baby through breastfeeding? How can we minimize the likelihood of transmission to our baby through breastfeeding. thank you for your response!

This is kind of on the same lines as my post. I was wondering if my HSV2 can be transmitted through breastfeeding. I don't have the oral herpes, but I do have the genital herpes and if you can transmit it that way, then I probably can too. I don't know but want to find out before my baby is delivered. I will ask my doctor as well.

yes you can possibly transmit it to other body parts. when you have an active cold sore present, you should refrain from kissing other body parts. do you know what her hsv status is?
