Some people don't ever have symptoms and others do,which is why if you feel concerned about this it would be wise to get tested around 3 months from the initial incident,however should it come back positive for HSV1 there is no way of knowing whether you have been infected Orally or Genitally only an outbreak would indicate where it is most likely the infection is .....
A Herpes outbreak is generally a cluster of fluid filled blisters that can be itchy or painful or both,they eventually break after a few days and start to dry up and possibly scab over before healing up completely.
The absence of a Cold Sore is no indication that a person doesn't have HSV1 ......
