Hi! I have been tested hsv1+2 Igg 1.45 index value couple of days back .I have no liaisons or sign of herpes anywhere on my body. I am right now facing problem of shrill pain at the urethra tip of my penis , when I am trying to get a hard on. I have no pain during passing urine and or in case of flaccid condition .
Is it due to UTI , but I read that in UTI burning sensation takes place when urinating. can anyone help me in this?

Hi further to my post I will like to inform that I have tested negative for hiv . But my condition remained same and its about 1 month now and 2months from possible exposure to hsv. The pain I have in penis looks like due to hsv , so doctor prescribed me anti viral meds. My question is "Is it possible to have hsv outbreak without any liason and just a shrill pain at the penis tip?"

I'm not saying it's impossible but I have had so many men including myself with these types of symptoms. None have positive test results to back the claim. I highly doubt hsv is the cause of your discomfort.

Hi now I am taking valcivir 1000 mg according to doctor's recommendation. Even he is not saying my discomfort is due to hsv but as my hsv1 and 2 combined IGG test was 1.45 index , he recommended the medication. Surprisingly after few hours of taking valcivir I felt better and none of the previous discomforts vanished.Unfortunately I now feel It was an hsv generated problem. Now my question is if its hsv then how to prevent it from spreading to my partner and will it possible for my partner to conceive safely in future.

First I would have a type specific test done to confirm. That test result is very low and actually somewhat meaningless and only clouds your situation.

No. You absolutely will not contract hiv from receptive oral sex. You can put that out of your mind right away. You can get ngu though.

I got ngu unfortunately and I m taking my medication now... I was wondering if I got hiv along with the ngu which was due to receptive oral sex

It's not hsv related. If you are concerned then I would see your Dr and have a urine test.

Dr diagonised it as NGU .... I am worried if I have acquired hiv. Is it possible to get hiv while receiving oral sex ?
