on my girlfriend last night around 5am. the next day around 3pm i had a cold sore reoccurance. is it likely i will give my girlfriend herpes 1 on her vagina from this encounter? thanks
is a low risk for HSV. Given the cold sore showing up it could be a little higher. Have her be on the look out for symptoms 2-20 days after expsoure if nothing no need to worry. Should something come up have her seen by her doctor within 24-48 hours so if they feel a lesion culture needs to be done one can be done effectively.
on her at 5 am more or less and the next day at 3pm i got a cold sore..unfortunately just before this i kissed her and literally 5 minutes later i got the cold sore. it has been three days and just last night she got her first cold sore ever. i feel obviously quite bad because it was my biggest fear
on your gf when you were just here 2 days ago posting about worrying about transmitting hsv1 to her orally????? In your other post it was 5 minutes later you got a cold sore. Now it's a much longer time frame??
the night before...then the next day i woke up and kissed her on the lips and about 2 mintues later i got a cold sore. ...then about two days later she got a cold sore..so i wanted to know if its likely i also passed herpes 1 to her genitals the night before getting the cold sore..thanks
her first cold sore..she was tested before and was negative for hsv1 and 2. i definitely gave it to her. could i have passed it as well to her genitals even though i did not have active lesions at the moment
yes you could've transmitted it to her genitals too. if she gets symptoms genitally, she should be seen promptly for a lesion culture and typing to confirm and treatment.
Not really anything else you can do at this point but wait unfortunately. did she see her doctor about the cold sore to get oral antivirals for it?
