penis irritation causing conern

ok heres my story. i had protected sex with a woman about 1 week and 5 days ago...but the condom broke at some point. im not sure when it broke but it did.  We had sex in the morning and exactly two days later in the evening i noticed that i had  a weird sensation in my penis area. its hard to explain but it feels like i have to urinate with a slight burining sensation inside the tip of my penis. after i urinate it kind of feels like i still have some trapped in there or something. i have no sores or legions just this weird sensation.  and it feels like im not producing as much semen when i ejaculate then i did prior to this incident.  So its going on two weeks now and this feeling is still here.  one minute it will feel like its getting better, then it comes back.  i have a doctors apointment in a few days but i dont think its going to accomplish anything.  i have no sores to show them and i heard its too early for anything to show up on a test.  i dont know what to think. i just want my peace of mind back.

grace,
my appointment is tomorow morning so i thought i would try and get a few things straight.  the pain is starting to go away. at worst now it is just a a slight prickly feeling inside the head of my penis...it feels like its in the urethra.  when people get herpes do they ususally feel the uncomfortableness on the outside like on the skin or insided in the urethra?  And should i ask for a penile swab test or just do the urine test for chlamydia and gonorrhea?? and if this pain goes away and no sores pop up would it be irresponisible of me to consider that i just dont have herpes and keep on having sex without getting tested for it? i plan on getting tested for everything sometime next year. am i wrong? sry for all the questions, i think this will be my last post until i get some test results or something serious happens so please bare with me.

you can get tested for chlamydia and gonorrhea any time after 1 week post encounter.

grace,
thank you for responding so quickly. is it too early to test for chlamydia and gonorrhea? how about herpes. it will have been two weeks since the symptoms started on the day of my appointment and two weeks plus two days since the sexual encounter.

At this point following up on this is the best course of action. this doesn't sound like herpes and the risk of contracting herpes from a one time mostly protected encounter if very low in general. since the condom broke, certainly get urine testing for chlamydia and gonorrhea when you are seen. those are the 2 most likely std's you'd pick up that would cause burning sensation.

no std causes decreased semen.  I'd lay off the masturbation until after you've seen. that just irritates things more.
