pleas help im going crazy with fear
Was with someone that was haveing a outbreak we had sex fast like 10 min I wore a condom. I thought it was heat rash sht told me after it was hsv2. Do I have any hope. I cant sleep eat drink pick my nose rub my eyes. I have even ben. Puting my ciggs on a straw so I dont touch my lips. I cant sit down I feel like my heart is going to stop.

Even during an active outbreak, usually HSV is not transmitted. I agree many ER docs are not herpes experts, and her "big trouble" comment wasn't justified. She also seems to not know about the research that shows that taking acyclovir after exposure does not prevent infection. The only possible effect is to delay onset of symptoms and to make later diagnosis more difficult. I suggest you find more expert care (like your local health department STD clinic, a Planned Parenthod clinic, etc) then follow their advice about treatment, follow-up, and maybe later testing for HSV.

I have been in a relationship with my girlfriend for over 4 years and we never used protection in Oral or Intercourse.
I got my self a routine STD panel Test on 27th Nov. I came out all clear no HSV1&2.
But 23 days later my girlfriend got tested for same HSV1&2 combined test and her IGM was 0.67 and IGG was 5.53.
Since then we are so bothered and scared . I don't know if i have got any infection from her n now affected.
couple of days after her result i felt little very tiny blisters on both lip joint very tiny no pain no itch and they were hardly visible but then three while tiny blister on different locations on my lip.again no pain or itch.
This morning when i got up i had one very tiny white spot on out border line of my lower lip and when i washed my face and rubbed towel i by mistake squashed it .I don't know if it was herpes or general pimple .
I m so scared that i can't do nothing my brain is just in shock a big shock .I don't know what do i do ,
I don't know if i have herpes or not.

If ur boyfriend is neg why is he taking meds? The meds do not help with preventing herpes for him... For u .. Yes to prevent transmitting to him. If u r on meds ... Chances are low for transmitting and plus condom... It reduces to like 2% . Just don't have sex while u have outbreak.
Some people never even take preventative measure and never get it from their partner. Good luck and god bless, S

Praying for u everyday and I am sure u don't have hsv2 as ur risk is ver low. Keep healthy as immune system does wonders and God bless, S
Yes positive for hsv1 but i have had it since i was a kid get them on my lip my wife has them to on are lips not bad just littlle ones.

For me, I believe I had HSV II and not know I had it for many years. The first time I slept with my boyfriend, I had inflammation of the cervix, UTI which was the STD, and many yeast infections. I was sick for 6 months with all the symptoms of HSV II. In fact, I slept with my boyfriend with the herpe sore and we both never knew what it was. He still doesn't have it and I do. We believe the trauma of intercourse had the HSV II to surface and I began having outbreaks every since. I have to be on medication or else I'll have a sore.
My boyfriend is on medication so he doesn't get it.
I think from the time you thought you had it and you had medication, you needed to continue with the medication until you knew the results. That way your partner/partners have less chance of having herpes.
My story sucks and I don't know where I got it, but I'm thankful to having a partner that understands. He was with me every step of the way and saw how horrible the symptoms were. I just can't believe herpes could stick around for so long and then BAM it just creeps up.
Let all of us know if you were positive or negative.
Also, don't let things get you down. I felt horrible too, but in the long run, I got over it and live life like normal. It's a bump in the road that you can get over too. There are also ways of telling your partner/partners if you have it. I only have told a few close friends/family about it.. my mom, best friend, and boyfriend only. Good luck!

The igg is 98% accurate. Not required to tell anyone i dont thank but i could never do that to her. I will leave her i thank. I dont know i cant thank past that point. My life will be over. She will never get it from me. I wont kill my sealf but i will wish for death.
@ stupid bro I feel sad for you. When will the test results show up? And what test are we suppose to take at 12 weeks? If you test positive are you required to tell your wife?

Got a 200 luma led flash light and a magnifying mirror. That was a mistake at first. I have found out just how much your skin changes from day to day. Also my dog has flees. deodorant makes my armpits red. When its hot my balls turn red. I have fordyce like 70% of everyone. If you stop masturbating you get blue balls. If you have blue balls masturbating will make it go away in 30 minutes. And I am allergic to something that causes a rash for like 2 hours then it goes away. Something I get on my hands in the morning. Toothpaste? No symptoms of herpes. Thank god. Pleas pray for me.

Thank you all for your positive comments. I got my test back and the numbers are hsv1 50.50 positive hsv2 0.91 . Neg for hsv2. I set up another appointment for the 16 th. So far so good no symptoms the test is as I expected. Trying to stay positive started reading the Bible and I prayed to god for all of you who have this and for everyone on this rollercoaster ride of not knowing.
You really need to calm down. A rash is not to be mistaken for herpes lesions, it would not be mistaken!
U don't even know she is hsv2 positive right? You assume that what it was so don't let ur head get a head of the game here. So just relax ... Ur doc is right condom only protect 30-50% but with one time encounter... The odds are in your favor. Come back and let us know ur results but it is really too early to tell at this point. Will be praying for u!
Day 6 the dr visit.
Went to the dr. Took a blood test it was hsv/1/2 igg rflx 1&2 type sp. Told the dr what happend and what I saw. She said herpies is verry contagious and if I came into contact with a sore I have a strong chance im also infected. But I wore a condom so I have hope. Then she made a sad face.

Day 5 and nothing but stress. still no peace of mind. Going to the dr tomarrow to get a test. Ill use it as my base line. Seen on this web sight that it was a good idea.
She did have a rash. And yes sorry I said that she told me that. Ill olney put facts from now on. Some good question now can you have a outbreak on your buttocks but not on your vagina. That is one thaing I do rember verry well. The v jj looked just as it should. Also day 4 and nothing... well its hot and im freeking out so I may have some burning feeling on my buttocks well acc I though I had every symptom + 10 more. I have made up my mind that im just going to let the doc make up his/her mind and tell me what to do.I've never been so eager to see a doctor before in my life. Im still going to look at these postes thoe no one knows but you and I need some support. I've walked in your shoes. She said she was negative but you think you know better. Stop beating yourself up. Try to get out of your own head. It isn't easy but you wore a condom (good thing) and you don't know whether or not she is even HSV2+ (another good thing)... but then you made up this whole story about an active outbreak which obviously took you to a whole different place.
I think u will be ok from this and I think we all learn from the lessons taught. Hang in there ... Praying for u!
