pls advice medication

Hello doctor,

I just don't know how i have contacted this weird disease ( herpes ). Am sure that i have this disease from 2 yrs but just was panicked to do the lab test nor see a doctor. I always had protected sex but i think i had infected this through oral sex. All this started one-day 2 yrs back when i noticed small tiny red dots on  my penis and foreskin  where there was not of much pain but itchy feeling and reddening, tingling and within 3 days the skin peeled off and every thing became normal. I dint get any cold sores on lips or in mouth. ever since that time am facing the same problem of recurrent attacks of same symptoms which last for 3 days once in 6 months when i have more sex or when i move more in sun. i don't get these symptoms any where on the body except for my penis. I'm frustrated with this and i got checked my blood for stds on 12th of may for VDRL , HIV 1  and HSV2 IgG and igM   and every thing came non reactive and negative except for HSV 1 IgG where the score showed 1.2 and i think it is positive. please suggest me what i should do as am married and if i would have had so my wife would be having as she also complains of itchiness on her vaginal lips at times. what drugs can be used and can i become father as am scared that the infection carried to my baby. Does HSV 1 caused genital lesions apart from cold sores. whether its herpes or some thing else.

herpes is not a "weird" disease. It's incredibly common. 1 out of every 2-3 adults in the US alone has hsv1  and 1 out of every 4-5 has hsv2.  nothing weird about something that prevalent!

odds are your genital symptoms are a chronic fungal infection. have you been seen when you have symptoms to get a proper diagnosis?

odds are your hsv1 is oral whether you have gotten obvious cold sores in the past or not.  it's not likely that it's the cause of your continued genital symptoms.
