protect sex with infected partner - chance of herpes is what?

I am a male and recently had sex several times (about 4 times) with an infected female. This was always with a condom. She only told me recently that she was infected a decade ago, and has not had a flare up or symptom of herpes in about 10 years.  However, she did have a long term partner before we met who had herpes but they always used condoms, she says.   Although I always wore a condom during sex, I did touch her vagina and then touched my penis without the condom with the same hand. I'm VERY scared and haven't had any sex since she told me this and want to know what my chances of getting herpes are, and how soon I should expect to see symptoms if I do have it.

If you had symptoms you would see them in 2-20 days.  Does your partner know what type she has?  You aren't going to get herpes from touching her and then yourself.  The risk to you was the genital sex.  The condom only does about 30% of protection against HSV-1.  So really there is still a risk.  

You can get a HSV type specific igg test 3 months after your last sexual encounter.  This will give you an accurate result.

By the way, I KNOW there is still a risk, why do you think I'm scared and posting on here if I didn't. I was hoping to get some probability that I'm infected so I know how much to worry about this. It's been three days and no signs of anything yet....

actually your risk was incredibly small. If you two did nothing but avoid sex anytime she had anything going on genitally and no other precautions, you'd be 96% likely each year NOT to contract hsv2 from her.
