protected sex in RLD amsterdam

by alittleworried665, Jun 22, 2009 06:17AM
Hi, I was in amsterdam last weekend for two days, and I had protected sex(with a condom) with a prostitute.  I regret it, and I was wondering what the chances are that I got genital herpes.  There wasn't much skin to skin contact, and she did say that she gets examined every month.  I know I'm probably overreacting but I have been worrying and I don't know what to think.  I haven't had any symptoms.  Should I even bother to get tested or should i just forget about it?  Is genital herpes common in the RLD?  Also, how long does herpes last on the skin because when we were finished she gave me a babywipe and I cleaned my pubic area and then my penis with it afterwards and I am worried that maybe i accidently spread it to my **** because my pubic area was not protected and I used the same babywipe.  Would herpes survive on a baby wipe?  I know this probably sounds ridiculous but any advice would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks
