random pimple on lip line (scared)

so i have this pimple sorta thing on my top lip line im not sure if its a cold sore or pimple heres the thing ive had it before and this the second time on the same spot ...its very small the first day it was just red  so my mother-in-law told me to put triple anbitoc ointment on it since we all think its a pimple( i rarely get pimples) and for the second day it was still just red this one morning i woke up and it was like a white head i washed my face and i guessed i hit it by accident and it started bleeding and now im freaking out because im not sure if its a cold sore or pimple.
