rash, herpes?

Hello all,

Im worried I may have contracted herpes although I cant be sure because my symptoms dont look anything like the pictures I have seen. I have recently developed a rash on my shaft and balls that is incredibly itchy. The patches themselves are red and silvery. I also have a larger one on the outer skin of my foreskin which I have been treating with canasten cream as I thought it may have been yeast infection. It was healing but then i masturbated which set this insane itching off. and its as if the patch on my forskin hadnt healed at all. I noticed this about 2 months back after brief oral sex with someone of unknown status so am worried that may be related. I have had relevant tests done but am awaiting results. Its been 3 working days. Do these symptoms sound herpes related?

For my own peace of mind while I wait for these results, is herpes something that could potentially spread along from the upper part of the shaft to the lower part and the scrotum?

no they do not.  I would've told you so in your post on the std forum if I thought you needed to rule out herpes.
