should i peel?

It's my first Herpes Simplex Virus [Type 2] outbreak and my skin has almost completely been covered in the sores and blisters, most blisters have opened..should I peel the skin, that so easily falls off, around the edges of all the sores, or should I leave it? I mean, it will end up coming off either way, I just wonder if peeling it myself may speed the healing process by creating scabs sooner, or will this actually slow the healing?

Any advice?

Oh and any advice for pain? I've had to stay home all day cause I cant even walk or sit. The pain I am in forces me to lay down all day.

Do not peel this off!!! Let it heal naturally!!  You don't want to make it worse!

Try soaking in the tubby with epsom salts at least once a day - that typically helps quite a bit.  

Dermoplatst spray is available otc at most pharmacies. It's under $10.  It's a topical anesthetic  that you can spray on as needed for pain control.  

ice packs to the genital area are also helpful.

What are you taking for pain control?

What antiviral did they prescribe for you? What dose and for what long?
