at 42 days highly unlikely and Herpes zoster would not interfer with a igg type specific but an igm would and thats why we dont use the igm. Not sure about your blood issue.
To be specific, my exposure was 42 days ago. So it's unlikely to be primary infection symptoms? I did IgG HSV 1 and 2 at day 9 as a baseline and they were negative. Is there a possiblity that, chicken pox vaccine might some how delayed the progress of infection as they were from the herpesviridae family?
Is it possible to experience symptoms persisted for weeks from those normal flu or cold? This was the first time having something like this and after the exposure.
Can whole blood cell give a hint what's going on me? Lymphocyte is responsible for viral infection, as if I had one of it, my lymphocyte level should be abnormal right?
All i can say is the average is 3-13 days but possible to have them a bit later but not much later. Not it would not be possible to experience primary infection body symptoms for several weeks.
Thanks for your advices, I sincerely appreciate them alot .
One more question, is it possible for some one to contract herpes and having his primary outbreak later than the 2-20 days period?
And for the cold virus u stated, is it possible and to experience its symptoms for several weeks? As I know most of the flu and cold come and go in days or at most a week.
Its the same with any new virus in a cold virus, the whole body reacts not just the upper or lower. I would not at all be concerned you contacted herpes but do test in the appropriate window for verification.
erm yes I did state that for the oral sex part it's unprotected, just a lil confused as most of the peeps here said oral sex is no risk for hiv ( last question for hiv, sorry) but why the others would use the term possible but unlikely?
Okay, so let's assume if I got oral herpes in this case, the body aches will be on the upper part of body? And for genital herpes would be responsible for the lower part of body? Actually according to your experience, the muscle aches of herpes would be site specific or possibly generalized over body?
For the red spots, I have taken the meds for it ( just 1 pill for the entire course) but after 2 weeks the spots a few of it still visible but barely.
Again, sorry for kept on nagging as I have consulted many urologist and they couldn't give assumptions or assess ment on my situation as my country's specialist were not that knowledgable I would say that. Millions of appreciation
You should post HIV questions in the HIV forum. You say in your post that you used a condom but if you did not for the oral, its really a low risk incident and if she did not have any lip sores at the time you can pretty much rule this out. If your concerned you acquired herpes from the unprotected oral just have a blood test in 3 months or 8 weeks as an indicator. Body aches is a symptom of a recent infection but your risk was so low that i would not consider this related at all.
Having red dots on your penis could be fungal related and you might want to follow up with your doc if your concerned that it is as may need some antifungal cream and get your skins pH back to normal.
Did you contact herpes from this affair? Really a long shot that you did.
Thanks for answering me, unprotected oral do pose risk for herpes and hiv according to US CDC? That's what I got the information and others would rather say rare but possible.
Would like to ask, according to your knowledge, if I got genital or oral herpes in this incidence ( we had French kiss and unprotected blow job) would it cause tiny red painless bumps on penis? Googled about the GH pics which doesn't resemble any of it. As stated in many websites, primary GH infection would cause aches at lower back and legs, but I have been experiencing some how quite generalized pain, which the area near neck and upper back is more obvious... Could oral herpes cause aches at upper area of body? Generalized muscle ache is one of the ARS and my ache persistedfor weeks which no specialists was able to tell me why.. sorry for the long comment :(
