sticky balls

I had unprotected sex 15 months ago.. after 7 months my legs and bottom became very hot red and burning almost like glass sharp like pain. I had been walking/running alot so I thought maybe a jock rash. I tried some creams my doctor prescribed but they only made it hotter and stickier. After 4 months the creams were not working so I just stopped and started using a powder to keep the sweat down. It seems to be working but soon and I start walking alot it all back again but not nearly as bad. After I had the sex I was test for all the STD except herpes..they were neg. But 6months after the unprotected sex I had the IGG test for herp 1&2..I had a less than .90 for herp 2 and a 1.56 for herp 1. I am almost 50, is it possible I have had this for years and not know it? I doctor did say I had a couple of vessicles on my bottom but it didn't look like anything to worry about. The stickyness I have been experiencing has been going on ever since the rash at the 7month time and has continued now for 7 more months. What do you think could be causing this stickyness on my scrotum? is this herpes related?

Most adults at your age have hsv1 orally whether they can recall obvious cold sores or not.  No reason to suspect your hsv1 is genital from the description of your symptoms.

You need to see a dermatologist at this point. This isn't a herpes issue.
