symptoms

lately ive had minor itching around my genital area its been 10 days since my last partner how do i know if im good and dont have genital herpes

you can get tested for gonorrhea and chlamydia only accurately at this point. You need to wait 6 weeks for testing for syphilis, 3 months at least for herpes and hiv.

Just itching is more likely to be jock itch than herpes. did PP mention what they thought was causing it?

Not necessarily.  You need to wait approximately 12 weeks since "exposure" for the Herpes Igg blood test to be accurate.

No I didnt use protection... But I got tested monday jan. 11... And I had sex with the girl january 1st.... I got tested at plan parenthood... If my results come back negative... will I be in the clear?...

if you have itching and don't know what the cause is, you need to go and be seen.

did you use a condom the last time you had sex?

Genital herpes can present with physical symptoms within a 2-20 day period.  If the only symptom you are experiencing is itchiness, than its more than likely it's either your imagination / some form of dermatitis (eczema) / jock itch, etc. etc...

Again, if your only symptom is itchiness, its best you DO NOT itch, but monitor your symptoms.  If redness and inflammation appear in your genital region, and or any lesions, bumps, blisters, cuts, ulcers, etc..., it would then be best to see your doctor.
