symptoms?

SO a couple days ago I started to get annoying itch and i assumed it was from wearing pantyliners or w/e. Then just about a day and a half ago i went to inspect the area and it was red(maybe from scratching) and alll the sudden small cuts down there started to bleed(maybe because it was irratated?) but today the cuts are gone and now I just have a round very red raw looking spot down there and it itches still? If this was an open ulcer or anything is this what it would look like or could this just be aggravated skin that is now going to have to heal? HELP

Go with waringblender's advice - no one here can diagnose you, and ultimately you'd have to be seen by your medical provider to know what's going on. Herpes can look different on different people - one outbreak is not necessarily like another. Also, you say you had an itch - if you scratched it enough, it easily could have irritated/damaged the sensitive labial tissue. Add too the fact that the bacteria under your fingernails is abundant - another reason not to scratch... See your doc.

When you have overt symptoms you should be seen by a provider as soon as possible so that a culture can be done.

Looking around on the tubes for answers while you have symptoms won't get you anywhere. Get seen ASAP. You're wasting your time here until that happens.

We can't diagnose you. You also left off any information about why you are posting on a herpes forum. Why do you believe this is herpes? Were you having sex with a partner who has herpes? What is your own herpes status? Do you even know?

Without any of this information, we can't help you. Sorry.
