taking Valtrex

I thought I had a yeast infection and took a one day treatment of Monistat with the itching cream.  When I used the cream that made me itch worse.  So I started taking Valtrex thinking I was on a herpes outbreak.  I went to a clinic who took the std test ( I already know I have herpes).  They told me to come back in a week which has passed but will be going back this week.

Here is my question:

If I have a yeast infection and I take Valtrex, will it make my yeast infection is worse?
