I had a herpes IGG test of 5 + for HSV1. The HSV2 IGG result was 2.86. I have never had any noticable symptoms. I was married to a women who did have hsv2 for 12 yrs but our relationship was poor and at best we probably did not have sex more than 12 times per year and perhaps less. We did not use condoms and she was not on valtrex or acyclovir. I recently had the Biokit done and it came back negative twice several yrs after my divorce. So the question is, should I believe the Biokit or go ahead with the Western Blot as further confirmation?.
