all i know is if the number is over 1.0, you are positive. If the number is under 1.0, you are negative. blood results are not accurate until at least 4 months after exposure. i'm GUESSING that this means that you are type 1 only. good luck w/ your baby =)
I would ONLY trust the IGG test results IGM results are always disregarded for the doctors at this forum. take another test post 3-4 months post exposure. to be home free!!! You got FIVE months left of pregnancy NOTHING will hapen to your baby if you find this out soon. HE/ SHE will be alright.... GOOD LUCK
I only got the results I wrote about. It looks like I dont have it (there was no reason to think I did to begin with, my doctor just decided to run a few tests on different viruses). thank's anyway.
As for your igg results - did you only get 1 result or did you get a hsv1 igg result and a hsv2 igg result?
