think i may have a first herpes outbreak

A few nights ago, I had unprotected sex with someone I didn't know very well. At the time, I had been diagnosed with a UTI and was taking medication for it. A day or two after sex, I started having immense itching in my vaginal area, particularly inside. It has gotten worse- it burns when I pee and feels almost swollen. The doctor prescribed me a two pill treatment of Flucconazole over the phone when I told her I suspected I had a yeast infection. However, today, I looked in the mirror and saw there were small, red bumps all over the inner part of my vagina and near the anus area. I have also had a fever and been under the weather the past couple days.
I know this sounds just like herpes, and that terrifies me. But I'm trying to console myself that maybe the yeast infection caused the bumps? And I have notoriously gotten sick and feverish in the past any time I get run down or overworked, which I have been these past couple of weeks.
If, heaven forbid, it is herpes, will these immediate symptoms go away on their own? Is it necessary I go to the doctor? I am so overly humiliated and disgusted if it is in fact herpes- I am beside myself. Please tell me there is a possibility this is just a really bad UTI and yeast infection gone wrong.

It is possible it's just a bad uti. Only way to know for sure is go back to your Dr. and be examined. If they even hint at the possibility of hsv have them swab the bumps or lesions
