to grace please!! many herpes recurrences

hi grace, I had posted questions here before about oral and genital herpes concerns.  I have oral herpes since I was born, five years ago I was diagnosed with genital herpes after I notice the blister. I still don't know if I was born with it or whatever else, but I do Know my sister and brother also have it since they where born.  I started taking valtrex, then I took acyclovir and xovirax after the genital herpes diagnose, but I have not being very consistent in the treatments.

Now, I am worried cause I have from five to seven or even nine recurrences a year.  Right now I have one and I went to the doctor(infectuous diseases doctor) and he said that in some individuals is normal.  He prescribed valtrex 1gm per day for one month.  Is my third day today and last night I had pain in both leg and still got them today.  Also I have neck stiffness and pain. Before my last recurrence I had small painful cysts under my armpits.  

Are this normal genital herpes symptoms???  
Is my inconsistency with medication what makes the outbreaks to be more constant???
Are painful armpit cysts a symptom of herpes???
Is muscular pain a symptom of herpes???
Taking drugs and alcohol make recurrences more constant and symptoms more stronger???
Could this be a sign of HIV infection???

hi, they did blood test for herpes, right now I don't keep copy of the results, I will talk to my doctor to be exact. . .

What herpes testing have you had done so far?  Did you have a blood test? If so can you post the numeric results - ie hsv1 igg 4.5 and hsv2 igg 1. 9 or whatever they are?

thanks, when I noticed the blisters I went to a dermatologist and he quickly said, by looking a it, it was genital herpes. Its being almost six years since that happen and I had make my herpes testing and it appears positive.

How did they diagnose you as having genital herpes?

You've already asked about hiv many times in posts in the hiv forum so I won't address it here at all.
