transmission of oral hsv 2

can you get oral hsv 2 from kissing some one who has hsv 2?

very low since hsv2 orally doesn't shed very often. on average it sheds 1% of days.

So if someone has HSV2 mouth lesions what are the odd of contracting HSV2 orally through kissing?

Only about 3% of all oral herpes infections are due to hsv2. If your partner only has hsv2 genitally, you won't get it from kissing their face.
