vaginal blister

today I noticed two small almost unnoticeable blisters near the entrance to my vagina and I started googling to see what they could be and all the results were herpes. I had an unprotected sex 58 days ago but until then I've been sleeping only with my boyfriend. a week ago when I was at his place we had sex pretty often (5-6 times a day for 4 days) and then I started feeling some irritation, which I later on thought was a yeast infection. i bought a medication which i use for it and it passed in a couple of days, my bf had symptoms of yeast infection too and the medication helped him too. so that's that; the problem is, what are the blisters? i accidentally scratched them and a clear liquid went from them. I haven't had any other symptoms of herpes so I don't think (hope) that's not it. plus, the initial outbreak was supposed to be within a shorter period of time than 58 days, so if I did catch it from that guy, then it would have manifested itself sooner, right?

also cover the rest of your std testing too. since you had another partner 2 months ago, you need to wait 1 more month for herpes, hepatitis and hiv testing. you can get tested for gonorrhea, chlamydia and syphilis now as well as if they see any more signs of herpes, they can culture them now.

these may or may not be herpes going on. at this point you need to be seen and get a proper exam done.

odds are that neither you nor your current partner have ever had herpes testing done. Both of you should seek out type specific herpes igg blood testing for starters to see who has what.

should either of your genital symptoms reoccur, do not self treat but be seen promptly for a proper exam and diagnosis.
