yeasty beasty

im 17, i had a yeast infection from anti biotics before but i had no sypmtoms from it my doctor just gave me some pill and i never worried about it again, that was about a year ago. Over the summer me and my boyfriend were having intercourse and when we were finished i there was this white chunky stuff all over the base on his penis and on me too, that happened a bout twice since then but not recently. I just though it was a different type of dischage, no oder and i wasnt having an itch or buring feeling in my vagina. I was seeing little white chunks in my vagina now and then but never constant and still no burning or iching, recently i noticed that sometimes i smell different and even my boyfriend told me once after sex that my vagina smelled different. Now about 2 weeks out of the month i have some white some times green glue type slimy chunks in my panties and when i wipe and when i get the chunks i smell the funny smell [not like fish different] but i get confused because most on the time my vaginas completly normal no itch or burn. I though maybe i had a yeast infection or bv or maybe a thrush. Im away at college and cant go to the doctors here until i get the insurance and everything switched over and im not comfertable with new doctors. Since i had a yeast infection before i thought i should go get a monistat 1day or 7day, but i heard some TERRIBLE storys about the monistat making things worst. I just cant stand the whtie chunks any more or the smell its emarrassing to me when i have sex and my boyfriend comes back from iraq in 2 months!.. pray for him. and HELP ME GET RID OF THIS YEAST! do you have any home treatments that work or any suggestions that arre safe

you could prob try one of those vagistat yeast screening tests from the drugstore to make sure its not trich or bv or something.. if it is yeast..did you try gyne-lotrimin? worked out pretty well for me.. no extra itching or burning and it cleared the rash associated with it. just make sure you do it at night so it doesnt all leak out.

check the local drugstore.. cvs carried gyne lotrimin.. walgreens didnt. if you cant find the name brand go with something that says clotrimazole vaginal cream. i did the 3 day.  as for the screening things you can get those anywhere in the feminine hygiene aile. hope it works out for you! yeast infections are not fun i know!
