Blood Pressure Readings

Hi, i just have a very quick question. I was concerned i might have high blood pressure, i have minor tinnitus that comes and goes, and my ENT and family doc thought it might be allergy related. But i read that it could be a sign of high blood pressure. Ive never been told i had high blood pressure in the past. Today i was feeling a little stressed at work, i know you cant feel blood pressure, but it felt high. So i left work, and had my wife check it at her office, and i got two readings of 135/90 and 141/93. Seems in the normal range for not being 100% relaxed/being on the move during work hours. So i went to the local pharmacy and had their machine do a test, i got 156/94, 144/97 and 143/98. Im 29, 5'10, 168lbs, not overly active, i do light exercise, but i am a little out of shape. Just wondering if these are readings i should be concerned about? I probably wasnt relaxed at the pharmacy, as i drove there, and went in and sat down and tried it. I tend to be a bit of a hypochondriac, so it doesnt help, haha.

High blood pressure is diagnosed as three consecutive readings over 130/90 in a period of several weeks. When you start taking multiple readings they will almost always increase. You should also never trust drug store testing units as they are over used and seldom maintained.

You should start by taking your BP everyday at the same time and track it for a few weeks. If you see consistent readings over 130/90 go see your doctor about a diagnosis and treatment. FYI, the BO tracker here is a great way to track it, feel free to look at mine.
