Does baking soda raise blood pressure?

I get frequent UTI's.  I've also had problems with acid reflux for decades.  Many have recommended baking soda in water as relief for both conditions.  But I also have high blood pressure.  Will baking soda raise blood pressure?

Hi, as baking soda has sodium, it may raise blood pressure values. Though there are controversial reports, best avoided. Regards.
