How to treat blood pressure naturally?

I have high blood pressure and I am looking for some natural remedies. I do not like taking medicines for blood pressure. When I googled for natural remedies I found this blog http://www.medhelp.org/posts/new_with_new_subject?forum_id=1222 But I am not sure if it really works. Can someone suggest me please!

I am older. I recently had to take lisinopril, but only a half tab a day cuz i use other natural things like one clove raw garlic on toast, hibiscus tea 2-3x a day, sweetened with stevia, Q10 vitamin, Flax seed ground in coffee grinder once a day at one tbs mixed in with some milk or soy milk with stevia....is yummy. I tried cayenne but it raised it real high. Tried L Arginine for four months but did not work. Just ordered two bottles of vit k2 at 500 mg each cuz it helps to clean out clogged arteries. I am 65 so i am sure my arteries are clogged. Altho i find it strange that i can feel my pulse in both ankles -right foot left side soft spot. Opposite left foot. I read that if you can feel the pulse in the ankles leg arteries not clogged. Feel on both sides of neck too somewhere under the ear. A little hard to find, but doable. I have heard fish oil too, but i think the best are the ones i listed above, plus i am recently taking acv....apple cider vinegar one tb two times a day mixed in warm not hot water and honey or stevia. Drink with straw cuz bad for teeth. Rinse mouth out after. Brush before not after.  I think its working cuz i am lower than 130/85 now. Was much higher before. I also keep taking my bl pressure about6 or more times a day. If too high i take anther half pill which i try not to do.I can't wait to get the k2 cuz i have read that our arteries get stiff with age and k2 makes them more flexable. I think after age 40 we need to clean out the arteries.

Definitely the starting point is to review the BP numbers. Your actions will then depend on how the BP numbers are

How high is your blood pressure?  (If it's really high, to prevent massive organ damage like kidney failure, your doctor may put you on meds to artificially lower your blood pressure.)

Else, I'd see the first step as reviewing what causes high blood pressure (and then see what you can do to change your lifestyle to counter those as best you can).  For example:

- high stress levels
- being overweight
- being inactive (sedentary)
- for some, it could be genetic
