high blood pressure when doing pushups

When I go to the gym to exercise. I am usually fine but when I do pushups, after 20 pushups, I start to feel dizzy and my blood pressures becomes high. It can last for days with headaches, pounding in my head, hight BP, and sometimes even the dizziness. I saw an ER doctor and was told its because tension in my neck. I was given anti-inflammatory and pain relief. However, the problem is still occurring.
