Cushings Treatments

My 12 year old pointer mix has Cushings.  We tried Lysodren, but it crashed him badly.  He has now been on nothing at all for the past five months.  He's doing well, except the drinking and urination every 3 hours or so around the clock.  He also appears to have increasing weakness in his legs.  I am afraid of meds, but wonder if there is a natural help for this condition.

I recommend re-posting your question in the holistic part of the Veterinary Forum to receive an answer from a holistic veterinarian. You can also talk to your veterinarian about trying potentially less toxic western medical treatments such as Trilostane or deprenyl.
