Dental Hygiene care

Hi there.
I have been working in the dental field for over 10 years. I am currently working in, and the last 8 have been working in oral surgery. I have a love for the dental world and heartfelt love for animals and their health, specifically dental needs.  My question is… what would I expect to accomplish after completing the animal grooming and dental hygiene program along with completing animal science courses? My goal is to make a difference and teach “us the pet owners” the importance of dental care for our “best friends”.  Do you know of any other programs that I would benefit from for the success of my passion?
