My 12 yr old chihuahua went into the ER with a bad gastrointestinal infection. Left her at the hospital
For 3 days. Came back home with no appetite so her vet recommended home made baby food which she starting throwing up. I knew the symptoms had yo do with kidneys but the doctor didnt believe so. Took her again and asked for a blood work and renal
Failure was confirmed. She is back at the hospital. How long does it usually take for them to respond yo treatment and how do I know if she will. The doctor believes this may be acute and not chronic but frankly I don't trust Him too much anymore.
