I am writing here out of frustration. My husband has genital warts. They have been present for over 7 years. He has had the freezing treatments, acid treatments (self applied and doc applied), Alldera and now laser treatments. These things will not go away. Why? and what else can we do? We move a lot and every new doc tells him how "we will clear that up in no time"...he has not been wart free in over 7 years. He has had to endure so much pain. Is there any thing left to try? Any holistic treatments we could consider? Any new research? It just seems his immune system won't take of the warts, is there an immune therapy that we could try?
Yours is a harder question for me to answer. I really think you need to find a doc who can help with the treatment. There has to be an immune system issue causing his prolonged wart issues. I am very sorry to hear how the two of you are suffering. I just started my battle with warts. I am not a smoker, if he does smoke he should stop asap. I am not drinking til my symptoms have stopped. I am taking lots of vits, A and E are good for warts. I take a great multi, B,C, D, fish oil caps. I read today not to eat pork and lucky for me I don't anyway. Google diet for warts and immune system issues. There is lots and lots of info online. Def work on sleep and stress. I know it must be hard when this seems to be never ending but lack of sleep and too much stress will harm the immune system.
