Hi there,
I am 40 yrs old and had an abnormal papPap smear Pap smears and cervical cancer about 20 years ago and at that time was positive for HPV and mild to moderate dysplasia - had cone biposy, cryotherapy and lazerLazer creme and everything cleared.
I am normally a stressful person and now this has got me realy freaked out and constantly on my mind that this could be something worse and by waiting 6 months caould change into Cancer which i am so terrified of!
is 6 months too long to wait for another repeat pap and then wait for results and then if still abnormal wait another likely 4 months before getting into a specialist to do the coposcopy?
Dhat could be the chances that maybe some worse cells were missed on the pap like high in the canal and its realy bad? Could this have anything to do with what i had 20 yrs ago or could this be soemthing totally new?
I have been with my hubby for the past 20 years and have 2 beautiful children.
