Am I going to be ok???

I pray as I type this that someone can help me... I'm a 26 year old female, I'm married and I'm a smoker of 12 years. I have had 2 pregnancies and 2 live births one in 2001 and the other in 2006, both of my children were born premature. I have been trying to concive again since August of 2007. I have had severe ovarian cysts in the past, I had 1 surgery in Feb 2006 and another in May 2008. I went to my OB/GYN in March of 2009 and had my PAP test done and when I went back in June 2009 for some abnormal bleeding I was told that I had high risk HPV and I went in on June 17,2009 for a LEEP proceedure, when I went back for my checkup I was told that everything "bad" had been removed. So I told him I thought I had an infection I was given an antibiotic cream that cured it. In July 2009 I got my menstral cycle on the 19th and it lasted until the 24th. Then on August 10th 2009 I passed a bloody mucus, later that day I began to cramp, and even later that evening I began to bleed, it was nothing like a "normal period" I had LARGE CLOTS. On tuesday the 11th I called my OB/GYN and I went in that day to be seen, and he scheduled a DNC for Wednesday the 12th 2009. When I woke from my surgery he told me that he took the tissue that was left behind because I had a miscarrige, I had no cycts, and that also my cervix was bleeding so he took a biopsy "just to be safe" I have to wait 2 weeks to get my results back.

So my question is this: What does he want to be "safe" about??? Is this something that can happen with a miscarrige?  Or is this something more like he's looking for cancer again? And if so what are the chances? What other things could have caused this? I'm very confused and scared and I Pray someone can help me understand what this "Bleeding from my cervix" could be!

Well,
It is always better to be safe then sorry.  He probably just wants to make sure everything looks good.  Try to stay positive and keep yourself busy while you wait.  I know when Im waiting for test results I drive myself crazy too.
