Anal Warts & Cancer

by astro2000, Sep 24, 2008 09:16AM
Hi there. I have Anal Warts and I am using Wartec (Podofilox Topical Solution). I have got quite a lot of confusing and conflicting information from doctors and the internet regarding HPV and genital warts. Since I have visible warts around my anus, does that mean I have the cancerous type? If I have sex with my wife can I give her warts and increase her risk of cervical cancer? A lot of reports say that the warts are not cancerous? Does that mean I dont have the chance of developing them into cancer or not? Once they are cleared do I always have HPV and can I spread it still. I dont want to give my wife this disease. Thanks
