Anal Warts

I have been told that you it is very rare to tranfer anal warts to someone.  However, if you have HPV that causes anal warts, won't this transfer and infect someone?

If you have an active HPV infection, transmission is always a possibility.  And HPV is highly contagious until it clears from the system.

No, it is not rare to transfer anal warts to someone.  The same HPV viruses that show up in the cervix show up in the anus.  It is just as likely to transmit to someone no matter if it's located in the anus or vagina.

The issue is avoiding skin contact in the moment, and the fact other regions, such as your penis might have infected skin that is not showing a wart.
