Anal warts are not different from genital warts, except in location. They're a type of genital wart in and around the anus. If you have warts near your butthole, you should see a colo-rectal surgeon to get examined just inside the hole to see if there are others. Maybe not, but if there are, getting rid of those too will put you on a faster road to clearing the infection via your own immune response.
The strains of HPV that cause genital warts do not lead to cancer.
There is no reason to think that you have anal warts.
