, I have had 4 copo's and a leep. It has been 8 months since my LEEP procedure and I still have "low grade" . I have been taking vitamins and all that hoping something has got to give.
After finding out that I still have it I started thinking about about how I have felt and noticed that I have a bloating problem where my stomach bloats up really bad and I have sharp pains in my cervix. I also have a lot of pain when having sex
should feel good! I asked my doctor and they had me do a pelvic ultrasound and that came back fine. I don't know what to think and all they keep telling me is that I will be OK. not sure if anyone else has had this pain and if so what your doctor has told you?
Thanks!
I am 37 years old and have had abnormal paps for about 8 years, off and on.
After my first abnormal pap, dr ordered a colposcopy and decided to perform a LEEP or "the amputation" as I like to call it. This experience was traumatic and sex hasn't been the same ever since.
I have also had pain in my cervix like you explain, like a weird electrical shock or pins stabbing the cervix.
I have had chronic bv for a few years now too so I'm not sure if its the infection causing the pain or if I can actually feel cancer developing in my cervical tissue.
Painful sex also occurs for me, but not every time. This may also be related to bv.
I smoke, and this is definitely hurting my vaginal health.
Do you smoke?
Have you had bv?
Doctors don't ever say much when I tell them about painful sex, or the change in texture of my menstrual fluid (it's grainy where as it used to be smooth, like nail polish).
They give me antibiotic for the bv, I get a yeast infection and treat that, then I get my period, and in a few days, the bv is back.
I'm taking probiotics, a prenatal vitamin, zinc sulfate, and green tea extract; hoping all of these will help boost my immune system, fight the advance of cancerous cells, and get my vaginal flora back in balance.
MUST QUIT SMOKING.
Just wanted to share, since we seem to be experiencing some of the same issues.
