CAN HPV BE CAUSED BY VAGINAL FINGERING

my doctor recently stated tht i have hpv although i dont have any warts of any kind. she just saw abormal cell in my pap smear and am waiting for biopsy results. i wanted to knw that my boyfriend did vaginal fingering to me  and then by mistake touched his penis . is there any  chance of him to get infected with hpv .

Theoretically, it's possible, but very low risk.  If there was any genital friction/rubbing, the HPV could've been transmitted this way.  High risk HPV that causes cell changes doesn't cause warts.  If you two are having sexual intercourse (particularly unprotected), he can assume he's infected.
