I am a 25 year old womanWomen's way. I have never had a yeast infection before until this past summerSummers eve anti-itch. I developed a mild yeast infection in July, took an antibiotic and oral yeast infection pill (student health center- usually doesn't even check you out, just gives you pills). I was fine until October, when I developed a very bad yeast infection again with a bladder infection also. Again, I took antibiotics and an oral yeast infection pill. Since then I have gotten moderate yeast infections in December and again in February. This January I had an abnormal papPap smear Pap smears and cervical cancer test and had a coloscopy and biopsy. My OBGYN said he was not concerned and seemed to think it would just go away eventually. I do not have any warts present.
My question is, can the HPV cause more frequent yeast infections? I am just suprised because it seems like after my firstFirst progesterone mc10 First progesterone mc5 First-progesterone vgs 100 First-progesterone vgs 200 First-progesterone vgs 25 First-progesterone vgs 400 First-progesterone vgs 50 First-testosterone First-testosterone mc infection they've become pretty frequent and the HPV happened around the same time. I've also noticed that I have just a general soreness, especially after intercourseCauses of painful intercourse Sexual intercourse - painful- I have been thinking it was just from the yeast infections, but I'm wondering if the problems that I thought were yeast-related might be HPV-related.
