Diagnosed in February 09

by missy2443, Sep 25, 2009 07:50PM
I was just diagnosed with genital warts in February 2009.  I have researched extensivly and still have many questions.  First, if I begin to get clear pap results what is the chance that I could still pass this on. Second, will I be able to give birth normally if I decide to have children. Third, I have done everything I can to boost my immune system...I bought a juicing machine and drink 2-3 cups of juice a day...I take a 4 vitamins a day...probiotics...I run/ excersize...and have a high fiber and protien diet...everyone always comments on how healthy I eat.  I been able to stay clear of warts for a while but recently I have been extremly stressed consistently and despite my healthy life style I started to get some small warts again.  I really feel like this stress is effecting my heart which makes me even more stressed...I'm 23...am I too young to have heart problems?  I meet a guy last October and he seemed amazing...he purposed to me on Christmas eve and then we moved in together...(I got diagnosed with gw as exactly 4 months after I meet-is that around the time they usually first show up after contracting the virus)...after moving in together he started to become a completly different person...he became verbally abusive and possesive...he would become very angry if a sent time with family or friends...and did things like telling me to wear T-shirts when I go out.  With the support of my family I found the courage to leave him...he would tell me that with gw I won't ever find anyone who would want me and I guess that is why I didn't leave him sooner...I had so much fear that if I left him I would never find anyone who would want to be with me.  It has been two weeks and I find it very hard not to think about that...I am becoming very stressed and at times I am tempted to go back to him...do you have any encouraging advice that might help me with my fear of being alone.
Thank you for your time,
Melissa

Eating a balanced and healthy diet can boost the immune system and this can help fight the HPV Virus, however being too stressed can cause illness and therefore the reoccurrence of the Warts.

As for your ex boyfriend the only reason he is saying that you will never find anyone else is probably through his own fears of not finding anyone else. Of course you will find somone else as long as you are honest to them.
