Do I have HPV or genital warts? Please help :(

I am a 19 year old male who's obviously had unprotected sex (unfortunately) I noticed these little red bumps started appearing on the head of my penis I don't know when just one day I noticed after sex that they were there, they didnt hurt or anything but since then they haven't gone away (its been almost a year since they appeared) and tonight I just found what appears to be  one little wart on my scrotum so do these symptoms sound like HPV? Or is genital warts associated with HPV if someone could help that would be appreciated it's just hard to work around work and getting to a doctor at the moment :( and how soon should I get this wart taken off? If I don't immediately could more spread soon?

Those little red bumps could of been warts, but they could of been completely unrelated and harmless that's why it's very important to get them looked at.

HPV is the virus which causes all warts including genital warts. There are two types, low risk which cause warts and high risk which can lead to cancer. If you have warts, then you have the low risk type.

As they have been there for a long time without treatment, they may prove hard to get rid of. It is thought the longer you leave it, the more stubborn they become. Get yourself to a Dr as soon as possible, it is never nice being tested but it's something we all have to do if we are sexually active. Theres nothing to be ashamed of.

It could be genital warts or herpes.  I'd recommend making an appointment with a urologist. Good luck.
