Does this sound like anal warts?

So after many months of itching and what feels like dampness in my anal area, I looked in the mirror for anything unusual. I have never seen anything, but today I decided to check further into my anal canal. I spread my cheeks and searched for anything suspicious when i found two "nodules" deep inside my anal canal. They were about half a centimeter in diameter with a whitish head on them. It was really far into my anal canal and difficult to locate again. Any chance these are warts?
