Flu shot ok with HPV?

Hello, I am a female in her early twenties.  I recently got an abnormal pap and am wondering if it's ok to get a flu shot regardless of my lgsil result?  

Also, I'm confused as to how I contracted cervical hpv in the first place since I have never exposed myself to it.  There has never been any contact besides receiving oral (as well as kissing).  Is cervical HPV possible to get via oral sex?  I don't understand the logistics of the whole thing. I know one can get it through skin to skin contact, but how does that develop into HPV inside the vagina, rather than the warts on the outside?  How is the virus able to get inside?  

I'm having to wait about a month to get the colposcopy due to a cold (currently) which will be followed by my menstrual period, which will then be followed by my being out of town for a while for my brother's wedding, which will then be followed by a couple other Dr. appts for my Fibromyalgia Syndrome.  As I said, my result was LGSIL.  Unfortunately, I have to switch doctors because mine is relocating and is currently not taking any more appointments.  Their office did say it would be fine to wait.  Wondering your opinions on this?
