To whom it may concern -- In late January 2009, I noticed some cauliflower-like warts on my crotch area (specifically on the base of my penisCancer - penis Curvature of the penis Penis care (uncircumcised) Penis pain). I seeked medical help & was diagnosed with Genital Warts. The doctor prescribed Aldara cream (5%). Since my doctor visit, I have noticed that the warts have increased in size & number. With the use of Aldara, would you happen to know how long it takes to see any results?
With tough economic times, I've been extremely stressed to the point where I barely get enough sleep. Do you think that the stress is contributing to the increase of those warts? Lastly, If left untreated, will the warts eventually go away on their own?
Warts do usually go away on their own without treatment, but treatment is usually recomended as it reduces the size and number of warts and may reduce transmission rate and speed up recoveryRecovery position - series.
You can also try a product called Wartrol that you can order off of the internet. It may cost a few hundred bucks for about 5-6 months of product, but it definitely clears up the warts very quickly. I had a couple of spots that I was worried about, but after two months they are almost completely gone.
Hockey's opinion is worth considering, but I would suggest you be cautious about purchasing any medicine over the internet, which is unregulated. The effectiveness is unproven, and all natural does not mean it will be safe for everybody.
Yeah, i agree with you to above, and EVERYONE please, if you have or just found you have WARTS please, don't trust internet MEDICINE, NATURAL CURES, which are safe and are not proven. STICK to your DOCS orders, theres a variety of treatments to cure warts, and ask the doctor wichone is best suited for you, just follow the doctors orders, and for the one saying this is over in two years, NOPE, this warts will not be over in two years although many of them can dissapear and go way, that dsn't mean you are cleared or WARTS are not there, the only way to know for shure there's no prevalence of WARTS is by receiving treatment, and expectiong they do not return... sorry a have to be very, realist and straight. GOOD LUCK!
Treatment should reduce the size and number of warts, so Aldara isn't working, you should contact your doctor and discuss other treatment options.
Stress may contribute to the outbreak.

Thanks again!
I recommend following a doctor's recomendation.
