Genital Warts -Itching after Podophyllin treatment

Hi peeps, I was diagnosed with Genital Warts since August 2015. I only went to see a doctor about 2 months ago and he treated me with Podophyllin every week and I am responding well to it because my warts are all gone after about 4 to 5 treatments. However, i stop going to see him for 2 weeks and now i noticed some bumps on my penis. Now, i am under treatment of Podophyllin again.

My questions is will Podophyllin get rid of the warts for good or for atleast a duration of 1 - 2 years of warts free period? And also, after the treatment, my genital will have severe itching for a period of  3-4 days, is that consider normal?

I have also underwent a STD test, and the result are negative to others STD disease. So atleast i know i m only having GW.

The warts may go away for good but no one knows if they will ever come back. Most people (90%) never get more. The virus remains in your body forever. Clearance just means that you are not infectious at this time.  Some people react to the cream with itching, some do not. Talk to you doctor about that.
