Since you are skeptical, I would definitely suggest that you get a herpes blood test, just to be sure.
Well one factor could be that something is causing your immune system to have issues. It could things like stress or diet. This could cause you to have both an outbreak and warts when normally you have had no symptoms.
Sorry about your positive but at least now you know what is going on so you can start to deal with it.
I went to the doctor and he took a culture for herpes. It came back postive I am in complete shock I have been in a relationship for a year and 2 months with the same person and how can I have it now. What i dont understand that I did not have any sore until I went and got the wart removed and it touched the uninfected skin. This is really shady cause there was no blister or fluid from the sore just looked like a burn nothing like the pictures ive seen. I'm wondering if the doctor is covering his *** because what he did was malpractice?
I'm not entirely sure what tca is, but I had podophyllin treatments. Most of the time, I experienced very little burning or pain. One particular time, my doctor put the podophyllin on an ingrown hair (she did this "just in case," even though I advised her that I was pretty sure it was an ingrown hair). Anyways, in the following days, the particular spot became fairly sore and kindof inflamed and swollen. Within a few days, the swelling and pain went away. I am certain that this occurred due to the fact that she put the solution on an already irritated spot. In addition, she said that when the warts "blister" after treatment, it is a sign that the solution is working. I'm not sure if this applies to you, as I am unaware of what tca is, but I would say that this sore is likely a reaction to the acid.
If you had an active herpes sore you would test positive, ask for testing to ease your mind. If you are not comfortable with your doc, get a second opinion. If you didn't have this sore til after your treatment then it is odd you would suddenly have an outbreak. I guess it could happen but there is no way to know what it is without testing/doc confirmation.
