Genital warts...please help

i've had gential warts in and around my vagina and in and around my anus for about 4 months now and have been using aldara cream 3 times a week for those past 4 months. i've been having sex every week with my partner of the last year and he has not noticed the warts on me. the cream has not helped at all as the warts have grown and become more widespread. the aldara also irritated my skin so much! went back to my doctor who is going to freeze my warts next week.
is this a painful procedure? im not looking forward to it.
when the warts are frozen, how long before i can have sex? will sex hurt a few days after they are frozen?
is it an expensive procedure?
any info would be greatly appreciated?

im a guy and they used tca which is an acid on my warts and it didnt hurt at all but it did leave scarring but i dont know about the freezing procedure.
